The Get Up Story
After decades of painting walls around the world, people kept stopping us to ask the same question: How do you actually get up?
We’re both artists and educators, so we built a course to answer that question that shares our real-world tips, techniques, and hard-earned lessons in a way that’s accessible, practical, and inspiring.
In street art, “Get Up” means putting your art, A-game, your graffiti, up on a wall for the world to see.
For us, it also means showing up fully, creatively, and courageously. The idea for the course came during a rainy hike, one year after we’d both faced serious health challenges on the same day. Standing there, realizing how far we’d come, we knew it was time to get back up — and help others do the same.
This course is designed to meet you where you are. Through seven focused lessons, we break down the biggest challenges beginners face when starting mural projects and turn them into clear, actionable skills. It’s detailed enough for professionals, friendly enough for first-timers, and built on a simple belief: if we can do it, so can you.
